From 17 to 21 September 2025, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was invited to participate in the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and set up its themed booth for the 13th consecutive year.
On 18 September, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ACC paid visits to the ACC booth, as well as the booths of 10 ASEAN Member States (AMS) and the booths of relevant Chinese enterprises, where he had interactions with the guests on site. During the exhibition period, representatives from government agencies, business associations and enterprises from both China and foreign countries also visited the ACC booth to gain a deeper understanding of ACC’s functions and explore opportunities for future cooperation. The ACC’s efforts at the CAEXPO were widely covered by media agencies such as China Media Group and Guangxi Radio and Television.
Through light box photos, video show and with interpretation by on-site staff members, the ACC booth gave a comprehensive introduction on ACC’s role and functions, and a vivid demonstration of its achievements this year in promoting friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between ASEAN and China in the fields of agriculture, trade, investment, education, culture, tourism and information and media.
A large number of guests visited the ACC’s booth and participated in the “ASEAN-China Relations” prize-winning quiz on site. The ACC also collaborated with booths of AMS for the first time to launch a stamp-collecting activity, attracting thousands of people to visit AMS booths. The ACC’s booth and those of the AMS became popular “internet-famous” check-in spots at the 22nd CAEXPO.
