On 14 April 2025, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Fan Shaojun, Standing Committee Member of Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Haikou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China during his visit to Haikou. Both sides exchanged views on further enhancing economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between Haikou and ASEAN countries.
