
On 13 November, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) hosted the Strategic Studies Abroad Delegation of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) from Indonesia in Beijing. The delegation comprised 34 senior officials from the National Resilience Institute.

SG Shi emphasized that against the backdrop of complexities and uncertainties in the international landscape, the ASEAN-China relationship has played an irreplaceable role in promoting regional peace, stability and prosperity. Indonesia is one of the key partners for China and ASEAN cooperation. The ACC will remain fully committed to advancing the strategic vision of leaders of both sides by strengthening practical cooperation across all fields.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Inspector General Police Purwo Lelono commended the ACC’s pivotal role in advancing ASEAN-China cooperation and outlined the delegation’s key objectives to learn from China and the ACC’s efforts in promoting regional cooperation.
Hadi Tjahjono, Director of Education, Culture and Tourism Division of the ACC, briefed the major activities in education. Both sides also exchange views on other bilateral and regional cooperation opportunities.
