On 21 April 2025, Ambassador Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), met with Ambassador Dino Patti Djalal, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), in Jakarta.
Shi Zhongjun gave a briefing on the ACC and said that as the only intergovernmental organization between ASEAN and China, the ACC has long been committed to boosting cooperation in economy, trade, and other fields. The FPCI not only plays a significant role in shaping Indonesia’s foreign policy but also contributes importantly to enhancing regional trust, cooperation as well as exchanges among Generation Z. The ACC is willing to strengthen policy dialogues with think tanks and promote youth interactions to contribute to the advancement of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the building of a China-Indonesia community with a shared future.
Dino gave high respect to the ACC for actively implementing the consensus of ASEAN-China leaders and playing an important role in deepening exchanges and cooperation across various domains by series of extensive and in-depth activities.
