On 8 September 2020, the 11th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Online Exhibition was successfully held at Guangrao International Exposition Center. Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to China, Ms. Shwe Sin Oo, Commercial Counsellor of Myanmar Embassy in China, and Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of the Trade and Investment Division of ACC delivered video remarks at the opening ceremony.
Mr. Chen Bichang, Deputy Secretary of the Dongying Municipal Committee of the CPC and Acting Mayor of Dongying delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He noted that the exhibition is a window to the world that showcases China's tire manufacturing and green intelligent manufacturing that keep pace with the times. He hoped to further strengthen both domestic and international exchanges and cooperation to create a better future together.
Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun and Counsellor Ms. Shwe SinOo expressed hope to see ASEAN countries strengthen cooperation with Dongying to share development opportunities brought by the Belt and Road Initiative, and leverage their comparative strengths for mutual benefits.
Mr. Guo Chuanwei said that ASEAN is the priority area for the BRI international cooperation. It is also a major import source for China's rubber raw materials and an important export market for China's rubber products. ACC will continue to promote Shandong and Guangrao to ASEAN countries, and strengthen China-ASEAN exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
This exhibition was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People's Government of Shandong Province. With the theme of "building a strong brand with international reputation", the exhibition was broadcast live on the Internet, and a series of activities such as online opening ceremony, online promotion of Chinese tire brands to overseas, live-streaming for corporate promotion and sub forums were held.
