On 17 July 2020, the organising committee of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as CIFTIS) held an online promotion activity for the 2020 CIFTIS. Representatives of relevant embassies in China and Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the activity upon invitation.
Mr. Gu Yu, Deputy Director-General of Beijing International Trade in Services Center, announced the start of the promotion activity. Executives of Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, Beijing Local Financial Supervision and Administration, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Beijing Municipal Health Commission, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-Council (CCPIT Beijing), Beijing International Education Exchange Center as well as IDG China, made briefings on 2020 CIFTIS, Beijing International Finance Expo, Beijing International Tourism Expo, the International Exhibition & Conference for Public Health Cooperation, the 15th China Beijing International Cultural Industry Expo, Exhibition on Trade in Education Services and World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo 2020. They also answered questions raised by the representatives of the embassies.
With the theme of “Global Services, Shared Prosperity”, the 2020 CIFTIS will be held in September in Beijing, aiming at promoting cooperation and exchanges of international trade in services.
