?ACC Representative Attended the 42nd SEAMEO High Officials Meeting

 
From 26 to 28 November 2019, the 42nd Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) High Officials Meeting (HOM) was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was attended by around 120 people, including senior officials of education from SEAMEO Member Countries, representatives from SEAMEO Affiliate Members and Associate Members as well as observers from partner organizations of SEAMEO.
 
Mr. Nataphol Teepsuwan, Minister of Education of Thailand, Mr. Ethel Agnes Pascua-Valenzuela, Director of the SEAMEO Secretariat delivered welcome and opening remarks respectively. Ms. Zhou Hui, Deputy Director of the Education, Culture and Tourism Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the meeting and briefed on ACC’s work programme for future collaboration with SEAMEO.
 
While attending the HOM, Zhou had in-depth exchanges with representatives from SEAMEO Affiliate Centres and relevant international organizations on strengthening cooperation in higher and vocational education. She also met with Mr. Wang Huichang, head of Representative Office of the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) in Thailand.
