On 20 September 2019, Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), visited the Exhibition of ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Achievements in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and exchanged views on the organization of activities echoing ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges and further deepening ASEAN-China media cooperation with Ms. Ma Li, Director General of International Cooperation Department, National Radio and Television Administration of China (NRTA) and Ms. Zhang Hong, Director-General of Radio and Television Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
This exhibition was an important part of the 1st ASEAN-China TV Week. The TV Week was co-sponsored by NRTA, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Government and ACC, with the theme of “Sharing new opportunities of ‘Belt and Road’ TV development”. The event was held from 18 to 24 September 2019 in Nanning city, was composed of some major activities including the Opening Ceremony and ASEAN-China Concert of Hit Movie and TV Songs, Special Thematic Session for the ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges at the Opening Ceremony of the 16th CAEXPO, Exhibition of ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Achievements, broadcasting of ASEAN-China TV shows as well as ASEAN-China Radio, Television and New Media Forum.
