On 9 May 2019, Mme. Wu Zhongqiong, Vice Governor of Jiangxi Province, met with Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), and officials of ASEAN diplomatic missions in China participating in the ASEAN-China (Jiangxi) Trade and Investment Promotion Seminar in Nanchang.
Vice Governor Wu Zhongqiong mentioned that, being a key link for the Belt and Road and an integral part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Jiangxi Province is highly complementary with ASEAN countries in terms of resources and industrial advantages. Jiangxi looks forward to the active participation of ASEAN enterprises in its reform and development to share benefits,
Secretary-General Chen Dehai said that the sustained development of ASEAN-China relations has brought tangible benefits to two billion people of both sides. ACC will continue to promote Jiangxi Province to the ASEAN countries, and encourage more ASEAN entrepreneurs to invest in Jiangxi for mutual benefits and win-win development.
Representatives of embassies and consulates-general of Lao PDR, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, as well as the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of China attended the meeting.
