Media Delegation from Indonesia and Malaysia Visited ACC

On 21 February 2019, a 13-member media delegation from Indonesia and Malaysia visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) upon invitation by China Report and recommendation by Chinese embassies to the aforementioned countries.

Ms. Wang Hongliu, Director of General Affairs and Coordination Division of ACC welcomed the delegation and gave a briefing on ACC’s work and priorities for 2019. Mr. Wang Zhiquan, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Division, briefed on the work in information and media sector and answered related questions raised by the delegation. The two sides had in-depth discussions on further strengthening information services and promoting media cooperation, and expressed hope to further deepen exchanges and cooperation in the ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges.
The delegation also toured around ACC exhibition hall. Officials of Chinese embassies in Indonesia and Malaysia as well as one from Indonesian Embassy in China accompanied the delegation during the visit.
