ACC Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping Received Interview By the 21st Century Business Herald

On 14 July 2015, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping received an interview by a reporter from the 21st Century Business Herald. Secretary-General Yang answered the questions in relation to ASEAN Community building, ASEAN-China economic and trade cooperation as well as people-to-people interaction, etc.. She also gave an introduction on the work ACC had completed with great achievements since its establishment to promote ASEAN-China cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture and tourism. She highlighted that as the only inter-governmental organization jointly founded by the governments of 10 ASEAN Member States and China, ACC would devote itself to implementing the initiatives of the leaders of China and ASEAN such as the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" and "2+7" cooperation framework, and keep pace with times and make more innovative and pioneering efforts to further promote ASEAN-China cooperation, so as to better serve the 11 governments and 2 billion peoples of China and ASEAN. She hoped the media could carry out the reports in line with fairness and objectiveness and contribute to the development of ASEAN-China relations.
