ACC Secretary-General Met with CNTA Vice Chairman

On 9 July 2015, H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC)，met with Mr. Li Shihong, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA). Director-General of the Department of Tourism Promotion and International Liaison Mr. Zhang Lizhong also attended the meeting. 

Mr. Li congratulated Secretary-General Yang for her assumption of the new post, and expressed his appreciation for ACC’s contribution on enhancing tourism exchanges between ASEAN and China. He said CNTA was willing to continue to support ACC’s work to upgrade the level of tourism collaboration and contribute on boosting people-people exchanges between ASEAN and China, so as to lay a solid foundation for friendship and mutual trust.

Secretary-General Yang expressed her gratitude to Mr. Li for CNTA’s continued support to the work of ACC. As the only inter-governmental organization co-founded by the governments of ASEAN Member States and China, ACC looked forward to further strengthening cooperation with CNTA to bring functional cooperation in various areas between ASEAN and China into a new phase.
