Secretary-General MA Mingqiang met with a delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University

On June21 2012，Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang met with Professor Zhang Xiping, Director of the National Research Center of Overseas Sinology in Beijing Foreign Studies University and exchanged views on potential cooperation.

Professor Zhang Xiping introduced the Centre's main work, especially the ASEAN Plus Three Training Program on Understanding China, and invited the ASEAN-China Centre to participate in the Program by providing consultancy in the planning and operation of the Program.

Mr. Ma Mingqiang welcomed the initiative and expressed the ACC's desire to deepen and widen existing links with Beijing Foreign Studies University. Mr. Ma Mingqiang pledged full support for the ASEAN Plus Three Training Program on Understanding China.
